The SEB ImmoInvest fund, managed by international real estate investment manager Savills Investment Management (“Savills IM”), has negotiated an early five-year lease renewal with an anchor tenant at “q-Bik”, a Vienna office building held by the fund. Österreichische Lotterien GmbH will now occupy a total of 8,500 sqm of office space and 65 parking spaces at the SEB ImmoInvest property until the end of 2022.
The q-BiK building is located in Rennweg in the 3rd district of the Austrian capital, around three kilometres from St. Stephen’s Cathedral. The building encompasses a total of 17,860 sqm consisting of two underground parking levels featuring 291 parking spaces, a ground floor with retail space and six upper levels dedicated to office space. Roughly 97% of total area is currently occupied. SEB ImmoInvest purchased the property in 1989. It was extensively refurbished between 2006 and 2009.
“The early lease renewal with Österreichische Lotterien highlights the popularity of q-BiK and shows that the fund’s property management has been able to successfully position the property”, says Carolina von Groddeck, Managing Director of Savills Fund Management GmbH.
