Since the last distribution on 31 January 2022, the liquidity and risk situation of SEB ImmoInvest has not changed significantly. Therefore, there is currently no free liquidity available – hence no distribution can be made in July 2022.
Until the Fund is completely dissolved, sufficient liquidity reserves must be retained in order to meet all obligations. By retaining these liquidity reserves, the Custodian Bank makes provision for possible claims based on tax obligations or warranty and guarantee agreements. As risks decline over time and corresponding reserves can be released, further distributions to investors will be carried out. Since many risks expire at the end of a calendar year and are reassessed accordingly, distributions can probably only be made once a year in the future. We expect that further reserves can be released at the turn of the year 2022/23 and that the next distribution will be made at the end of January 2023.
With the 20th distribution since the announcement of the dissolution of the fund, the amount paid out during the liquidation period totals EUR 5.01 billion, or around 83.8 % of the fund assets, upon termination of the management mandate in May 2012.
We will continue to keep you informed about the further course of the liquidation on our website at www.savillsim-publikumsfonds.de/en and in the annual liquidation reports.
